Everett Wess
Campaign Website
In this run-off election, Everett Wess received 54.7% so he will be advancing to the general election to face GOP Barry Moore.

Expect this to be a particularly difficult seat to flip as total votes cast in the Democratic primary amounted to almost 90,000, compared to over 310,000 votes cast in the Republican primary. So far, Barry Moore has raised almost $3 million for his campaign, compared to a little less than $74,000 for Everett Wess.

The numbers show that Moore has spent roughly 34 times as much on his campaign as Everett Wess. The return on those investments show that it has cost Barry Moore slightly more than $15 per vote, while Everett Wess is scratching by on slightly more than $1.53 per vote. It seems to show a flaw in the "fiscal conservatism" that Republicans are so proud of.
