(Ind) Dan OsbornCampaign Website
Running against incumbent GOP Pete "Dirty Tricks" Ricketts. As of April 22nd, Ricketts
had over $4.8 million in his campaign fund.
Cindy Burbank withdrew from the race on July 17th, leaving this a battle between
Ricketts and Dan Osborn.
Dan Osborn is running as a "non-partisan", but seems to be a strong choice for
Democrats. Ex-Navy and ex-Army National Guard; he also has had a career working
as an industrial mechanic, and has a strong background as a union leader in
Nebraska. He ran for Nebraska's other senate seat in 2024 and lost to Republican, Deb
Fischer, by a mere 6.7 points, garnering over 436,000 votes in the general election.
His strong placing in that election, and his ability to get significant campaign
financing (over $3.8 million as of April 22nd) puts him in a strong position against GOP
Ricketts.
Independent Dan Osborne, with his strong progressive ideals, his past track record against
Republicans, and his ability to raise campaign funds that are truly competitive against GOP
candidates, make him the best choice for Democratic voters in Nebraska.
In other news, William Forbes, the "Fake Democrat" that GOP Pete Ricketts enlisted to run as a Democrat,
was shot down in the Primary.
There is a controversy in Nebraska about election shenanigans which you can learn about
